Alcohol Abuse - Alcohol Treatment Sydney

Welcome to our alcohol treatment section. If you are reading this page chances are that at times you drink excessively or you are concerned about someone else who does. It is also likely that you are contemplating about change. If you think that your drinking is excessive, you may consider cutting down and talking to a professional about your alcohol use. Often even a small reduction in drinking can significantly reduce the risks associated with alcohol.

We offer professional help to reduce your drinking and at the same time we can help to improve other areas of your life that may have already been adversely affected by your alcohol use. If you are unsure whether your drinking is considered hazardous, we suggest that you take our "alcohol test" and spend some time reading the following pages:

                                                                              Alcohol Related Harm
We will describe the negative impact alcohol can have on your life. We will also explain the concept of a "standard drink" and what constitutes to problem drinking.

                                                                                  Binge Drinking
We will explain the concept of binge drinking, how it develops and why it is extremely harmful, both physically and psychologically.

                                                                         How can Counselling Help?
We will outline the ways counselling can help in reducing your drinking and regaining a better quality of life.
